We are interested in your molds and would like to fit with them the production in our country. But firstly we would like to be sure in their quality. Could you explain to us the difference between these or that mold and how to get the samples of the molds? Is it possible to purchase one mold of each type of the stone and dispatch it to our country? What is the difference between the purchasing of 1-10 molds from the contract on the purchasing 100-500 molds? Is there any opportunity of receiving training of stone production in your company?

Of course, we offer only the molds which we are working with. The molds are divided into 3 types:
1) blocked molds is the most low-priced (denoted as Block). These molds have bar of chocolate shape. The volume of the mold is 0,3 m2;
2) collar molds (denoted as V). They have the same bar of chocolate form but with 2,5 sm collar on the periphery of the mold, which protect the plywood backing from the embedding of cement.
3) thinwalled molds (denoted as T). From above they have bar of chocolate shape but with irregular bottom. The mold is packed into backing with the repeated inverse relief. These molds are applied for high-relief stones.
Consequently for the trial purchasing we recommend blocked molds, because they are made only from polyurethane. If you would like to fit the production it will be better to choose the collar molds. The thinwalled molds are expensive because of their weight and manufacturing complexity. The video about thinwalled molds is available on our website.
Thus if you would like to get the samples you don’t need to make a contract for purchasing of 1-10 molds, you simply make an inquiry on our website, we issue the invoice as private individual and as soon as we get the money from you, we’ll dispatch you the molds also as for private individual. If the quality of the molds satisfies you, we will make a contract of delivery and act within the contract, considering all the document and custom registration.
You can also receive training of stone production. To receive training make an inquiry on our website and we help you to find the hotel nearby our company, choose an interpreter for the period of the training (3-4 days). The training takes place on our production in Moscow. We will show you the formulation of stone production, the rules of working with molds, logistic of molds and components move (sand, cement, pigments) on the plant. We also produce stands for selling stones in the outlets. The cost of the training without residence and services of interpreter is 1100 € for one company. The payment is on the spot. We receive 1-2 persons from one company. You can take photo or record a video if you wish.

Why you are making the molds, not our own mold workshop?

Because the production of molds is another local manufacture with its specialists, equipment, production area, consumables and time required to create molds. The production preparation takes about 3 months, and the ready molds are delivered even later. This time can be spent on making 500-800 square feet of artificial stone, selling it and receiving the first profit!

How to choose the right mold manufacturer?

It’s easy. Let’s set aside the financial aspect of this question - it is not the only parameter for choosing the molds and we’ll talk about it later... You have to personally make sure that the molds you purchase: a) are easily dressed – meaning the mold material has the ability to retain the film of pigment mineral mixture, b) "render" the pigment mixture to the liquid concrete, c) do not shrink – meaning the stones from the first and three-hundredth casting have equal geometry, d) are flexible enough for the high quality of stripping of the finished stone, do not cause the concrete to stick to the mold surface and do not break, e) are easy to use, have a removable forms.
Unfortunately, the results of your search are predictable: SUCH molds are impossible to find in most cases. SUCH molds are produced only by FORSTONE. The number of molds returned by FORSTONE’S customers is negligible and is measured in one unit per hundreds of delivered units – because of careless attitude the customers’ workers sometimes make mistakes that lead damaging the molds.
As for the prices of molds, ours are the lowest: there are no analogues of polyurethane, better and cheaper that the one we use - this is confirmed by practical calculations!

Can I buy the stone molds, not included in your catalog?

Of course, you have to make a precise order, pay for the master model, matrix for casting and the mold itself.

Do you deliver molds outside Russia?

The delivery of mold units is carried out by EMS (air or vehicle shipping) at the expense of the buyer.
